1- Principals/ Heads/ Directors are requested to explore the area, trade for which Skill or Vocational Courses may be run in their colleges as per NEP-20 CBCS syllabus of UG courses.
2- Explore the possibilities of MoUs with industries, labs, experts, shops etc. for running Skill or Vocational Courses.
3- Explore the possibilities of internship, training, practical, OJT in the approach of students.
4- Go through the instructions given in GO no-602/70-3-2021-08(35)/2020 dated 22-2-21.
5- Each Skill or Vocational course will be of 3 credits, out of which theory will be of one credit (equivalent to 15 hours) and internship/ training/ apprenticeship/practical etc. will be of 2 credits (equivalent to 30 hours).
6- The General and Skill part in the course should be in the ratio of 40:60.
7-You are supposed to suggest sufficient number of Skill or Vocational courses (each of 3 Credits) according to the strength of students.
8- FILL SEPERATE FORM FOR EACH COURSE suggested by you.
9- A student has to complete overall four skill courses (each of 3 credits) by opting one course in each semester of first four semesters.
10- Appoint "Skill/Vocational Cell" coordinator from your faculty.
