Take your paddling skills to the next level with a clinic hosted by the head coach of Vancouver Island’s top team, Tom Arnold. We build custom clinics at VI Paddling, as well as at host clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest. Tom is a high-demand coach and leader in the dragon boating community and will work with you towards your paddling goals.

Tom has taken many VI Paddling teams to Club Crew World Championships and has consistently developed them to be podium contenders against the world’s best. He has also raced for Team Canada in the Premier and Senior A divisions as an athlete and is the owner of numerous medals for his efforts. He is now in his second cycle as the Program Director for Canada’s Senior B National Team after coaching his team to win 3 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals in 15 events at the 14th International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Thailand in 2019.
