FCA’s ministry presents Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by evangelism through fellowship.  Speaking in tongues, healings, prophesying and baptism can be an important part of the Christian experience for many people; however, FCA chooses not to focus on them but on the basics of the gospel of Christ.  Do you agree to keep the focus on the gospel of Christ due to time constraints on campus? *
FCA’s Statement of Faith -    We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men & women, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and by his living inside us Christians are enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. *1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example of the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity*.                                                                I understand that as a leader in FCA, my life is an example to others.                                                              Do you agree with FCA’s Statement of Faith? *
FCA’s Drug & Alcohol Statement - FCA prohibits that use of drugs or alcohol by any of its leaders.  The use of any type of drugs, tobacco or alcohol can result in the removal from the FCA leadership team.  This does not mean that the user is a bad person.  God forgives all and forgets.  However, the use of drugs and alcohol can hurt the reputation of FCA on your campus and will hinder its influence to non-believers. Will you at this time commit to living a drug, alcohol and tobacco-free life? *
FCA’s Lifestyle & Social Media Statement - I understand that my life reflects Christ and what He has done for me.  I understand that people watch the actions that I take and I need to try to be an example for Christ at all times. I understand that partying is not an example of Christ and it could hinder my involvement as a student leader with FCA. I also understand that social media is a powerful witness for both good and bad behavior, and the things I post can have a big effect on how people view FCA and those involved in it. I agree that my life is an example of Christ and I need to reflect him in all that I do, even while not at school and while posting on social media: *
FCA’s Sexual Purity Statement - God desires His children to lead pure lives of holiness. The Bible is clear in teaching on sexual sins including any kind of sex before marriage and homosexual acts.  Neither any sexual acts before marriage nor any homosexual acts constitute a lifestyle pleasing to God. While upholding God’s standard in holiness and purity, FCA strongly affirms God’s love and redemptive power in the individual who chooses to follow Him.  FCA’s desire is to encourage individuals to trust in Jesus and turn away from any impure lifestyle.     Will you agree to follow FCA’s Sexual Purity Policy? *
FCA’s Profanity Statement - The use of profane language does not reflect Christ.  This can hinder your peers from becoming interested in knowing more about Jesus Christ and the impact that he has made in your life.  As an FCA student leader, you are making a commitment to use clean language and not profanity.  If you are found to be using profane language, this could mean that you might be asked step down from being a student leader.                                                                                           Do you pledge to not use profanity? *
As a leader, I will be accountable to the other leaders, Huddle Coach(es), student pastors, and FCA staff.  I understand that if I am found being involved in a lifestyle that does not conform to FCA’s Lifestyle & Social Media Statement, Sexual Purity Statement, or Profanity Statement that it means that I will need to temporarily step down from my leadership position with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Also, I understand that my life is an example to others and if I do not lead a life that is an example to others, both in public and in private, I may also be asked to step down from leadership position.  This does not mean that I am a bad person and that FCA does not love me and want me to be involved; this is in order to protect the integrity of the ministry and to protect the ones to which we are ministering.  If I am asked to step down from being an FCA leader, I will understand and be willing to be helped with my situation.  I understand that the FCA staff/family loves me and wants the best for me and my relationship with Christ.   *
