The venue may
only be hired by persons who are over 21 years old. Should the venue be required for a person
younger, there must be at least 2 responsible adults present at the function to
oversee proceedings and to sign this agreement.
Alcohol will under
no circumstances be served to anyone under 18 years old
We reserve
the right for our barman to terminate the function due to destructive behaviour
in any form or excessive noise levels, should he deem this as fit.
The Hirer must clear the clubhouse of personal
belongings on the evening of the function.
The Club will employ a cleaner at an additional cost of R350.00. This cost
will be added to the hire cost, or should you clean the facility on your own
accord there will be no costs involved.
Please confirm if you will be cleaning the facility.
The bar will not be open unless requested.
Should the bar be required, The Club will provide a dedicated barman. Should
the guest count exceed 50, a further barman will be required for the account of
the hirer. The barman will only serve
behind the bar. Any other services required must be provided by The Hirer.
The Club operates its bar facilities under the
Liquor License Act. No liquor or other beverages may be brought onto the
premises by any person organising or attending the function. No liquor will be served to anyone under 18
years old.
Champagne may be brought to the venue. (Own
champagne glasses) please arrange prior to function.
The club hours are subject to the FMC (Facility Management Committee) hours/rules, the closing time will be communicated once we have received the
revised times.
If there are any penalties imposed be the City
of Cape Town due to noise levels and premises not been vacated by FMC hours
these penalties will be for the Hirer cost.
The Hirer may request the use of the
kitchen.
Crockery, cutlery and table cloths are NOT
supplied by the club. This can be arranged by the clubs discretion and at an additional cost, if available.
The Club has a limited number of tables and
chairs, which may be used by the Hirer.
Only 2 rolls of toilet paper will be placed in each
toilet. Please make own provision for
additional toilet paper
Please check if you need to hire glasses as the
Club has a limited number. These can also be hired through the club at additional cost (and including breakage deposit)
The Club does
not provide a secure car park for use by the Hirer and cannot be held
responsible for any damage to vehicles or theft of vehicles.
The whole
clubhouse is zoned as NO SMOKING area. Smoking area is on the balcony ONLY.
These must be
arranged with a club representative on approval of application.
The Hirer indemnifies The Club and agrees to
keep The Club indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims and liabilities
arising from loss or damage to property or injury or death of persons from or
during the period of hire.
