OARS Invitational Information
We are happy to have the approval from the City of Orlando and Bill Frederick Park to host the OARS Invitational. Thank you for your patience as we've worked through all of the permitting and restrictions.

We've had overwhelming inquiries about attending our regatta. In order meet the restrictions placed on us by the park & city, it is important that all teams understand and follow the rules carefully. This is the only way we will be allowed to offer a safe event.

Understand that this may not be the OARS Invitational that you are used to. We are really getting back to the basics of getting kids on the water & racing. There will not be vendors, elaborate team set-ups, or spectators allowed.

You will have to follow all of the Covid guidelines which include:
** Team wellness checks required.  Check your athletes, coaches & support staff temperature & health as they arrive to your trailer. If any athlete arrives sick, you will need to have a plan to send them home.
**Restricting any of your rowers who have been exposed within the past 14 days or are currently quarantined to not attend the regatta.
**Requiring your entire team to wear masks and stay within your dedicated area of the park.
**Social distancing from other teams, rowers, & coaches.
**Providing hand sanitizer, first aid, & PPE for your rowers
**No restrooms will be open - port-o-lets only.

Our masters team has decided not to run their portion of the regatta on Sunday. We will be offering middle school races at the end of the day on Saturday.
