Sea Green for Stuttering
In an effort to spread stuttering awareness, we want the United States to light up sea green during National Stuttering Awareness Week (NSAW) May 13th 2024 - May 19th 2024 by lighting up our city halls, town halls, bridges, and other landmarks sea green.

The more people we can get involved, the more ground we can cover together. Myspeech will help guide the volunteers in completing request forms for their respective landmarks in their cities/states.

Together, we will work as a community to advocate for stuttering and spread awareness all across the United States. This will all be possible thanks to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved!

Why Sea Green?
The color sea green is a combination of blue and green. The color "blue" has traditionally been associated with calm while "green" represents liberty, freedom and justice. The combination of these colors for people that stutter shows the bond between "peace" and "liberation" when finding support and community with other people who understand and share their experiences.
