My name is Jimmy Heard, I am the Club Director & Head Coach for East Side Water Polo. This summer we will offer water polo for athletes 5-18 years old. Due to limited space, this survey will gauge the amount of student-athletes interested in summer training. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please read below and complete the survey.

Starts 6/5/21 until 8/21/21
Ages 5-10
Splashball is an excellent segway into learning teamwork and sportsmanship as well as developing important swimming skills. Just like Baseball programs have T-Ball, our equivalent to that type of programming is Splashball.
Max capacity of 25 participants.
Age Group -
Starts 6/1/21 until 8/22/21
Ages 11 - 14
Age group programs are perfect for beginner athletes who are comfortable in the water. Age group practices introduce the fundamental skills and rules of water polo, while also continuing to foster teamwork, confidence and healthy living.
Age group practices include a swimming workout, skill development, games and more!
Max capacity of 25 participants.
High School -
Starts 6/1/21 until 8/22/21
Our high school programs cater to a wide range of athletes from those who are just starting out to those who are training to play collegiately. Practices are open to field players and goalies.
High school practices focus on fundamental skill building and refinement as well as developing tactical and technical knowledge of the game on an individual and team level. Practices also include speed and strength training, mobility and flexibility exercises and chalk talks/film review.
Athletes are given opportunities to develop further through competition with other local teams. (If deemed Covid safe.)
All players should be confident swimmers prior to registering for East Side.
HS Girls:
We will have 2 -3 different practices groups of approximately 25 athletes per group.
HS Boys:
We will have 2 different practices groups of approximately 25 athletes per group.
**All practices will include contact. We will have Covid based community guidelines in place that are expected to be followed by all participants. A few examples are below:
- The wearing of a mask in social settings.
- Reporting any Covid like symptoms to Coach Jimmy ASAP.
- Reporting any Covid positive cases to Coach Jimmy ASAP - anyone you have been in contact with, even if physically distant.
