Building onto the concept of a "Well-being Baseline" of safety, security and comfort at public housing developments, the Wellbeing Design Ideation workshops create an opportunity for different practitioners, NGO representatives, government officials, and public housing residents to empathise with the basic and life situation changes of public housing residents, to ideate "Well-being Design Enhancements" based on hardware, software, and humanware improvements along the different user journey of public spaces at Public Housing Estates. The Design Thinking Ideations will reference the 8 Well-being Concepts hints for local adaption at Housing Estates based on the participants' experience to stretch how different places at public housing can be enhanced and measured.
10+ resident personas based on our research at public estates in the past 6 months will be shared to derive a human-centric design. At the building level, what are the needs and wants of public housing residents as they relate to the design of everyday experiences? Looking at the hardware of public housing estates, from a typical corridor to a building lobby, how would it relate to different personas and types of residents using these spaces? How might we create design strategies for the public spaces at both residential and non-residential buildings that can enhance the well-being of residents?
The workshop will create multiple ideas of well-being through group discussions and facilitated activities and games through design thinking:
「幸福公屋 ‧ 設計思維工作坊」是在「幸福基準」的理念——建立安全感和舒適感——的基礎上，專業人士、非政府組織代表、政府官員和屋邨居民一同塑造未來公屋的公共空間和設施。在這裡，參加者可以深入了解公屋居民的日常生活情況，並根據居民的生活旅程，從硬件、軟件和人事三方面來擬定增進幸福感的設計方案。
在設計思維的過程中，參加者將得以參考八種幸福概念和自身反饋，發現與構思對公屋在不同地點的改進方法和衡量方式。有助於我們更全面、更深入地理解和提升公屋居民的幸福感。
經過過去半年在公共屋邨的深入研究，我們將分享超過10個屋邨居民的人物劇場，從中提煉出以人為中心的設計原則。 在建築的角度下， 公屋居民的日常需求和期待是什麼？在居民由走廊走向大樓大堂的過程中，我們該如何透過硬體設施的設計來照顧到各種不同的居民需求？我們又該如何通過設計改進 屋邨內外不同公共空間和設施，以提升居民的生活質量和幸福感？
透過參與設計思維工作坊，參加者將會進行各種團體討論、導向活動與互動遊戲，從而激發出各種提升公屋幸福感的幸福點子。
