We understand that students have other interests and that some absences are unavoidable.

Up to 2 absences will be excused per semester due to schedule conflicts or illness (turn in form for schedule conflicts).

Unexcused absences for 3 rehearsals results in the student being moved to the back of that orchestra section. For chamber groups, the student may lose the ability to participate in the ensemble (without refund).

Please take the time to review your family and student’s schedule and the Santa Barbara Strings Calendar (on website).  Please list schedule conflicts for each semester on this form.
