Markets Ontario at Watson Farms: Holiday Market
We are excited to be hosting our first ever Holiday Market in participation with Watson Farms.

We have had huge success with running these events with Watson Farms! We had line ups at the entrance all day, with numerous vendors selling out. We did 200 swag bags and they were gone in less than 10 minutes, with over 1000 people through the gates in the first 45 minutes.

This market will be held outdoors in a huge grass field at Watson Farms that can accommodate 150+ vendors. This event will be held snow/rain or shine. We suggest bringing a tent to protect your items, especially if it snows.

About Watson Farms:

This family business first opened its doors in 1970 with Watson Farms PYO. They have since expanded on their pick-you-own experience offering the community fun events, a seasonal market offering local food and goods, as well as a petting zoo and playground to keep your little ones entertained. We highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!

Since 2019, Markets customers have supported local makers to the tune of over $5 million in sales.

From seasonal and holiday pop-ups featuring local vendors to Ladies Night events with swag bags and more, Markets Ontario is quickly becoming well-known for their events within the community.

What is required of you?
• Each vendor will be provided with a 10 ft x 10 ft space marked out with flags (trailer spaces are marked the same, just larger). If you need a different set up, please reach out to make sure we can accommodate. Please remember this is a grass field, so no need for boots and tent stakes should go in no problem.

• Food vendors must provide their DineSafe certificate or a letter from the kitchen they rent stating that they work there, along with a name and phone number, so we can contact them.

• Along with products and display, vendors are required to bring their own tables, tent weights, tent pegs, tent, POS system and wifi, as it is not included. If you will also be accepting cash, please make sure to bring smaller bills and change, as we will not be able to make change for you on site.

• Vendors are required to keep track of their own sales and stock.

• You must tidy your space before you leave.

• While Markets Ontario and Watson Farms have insurance for themselves, you as a vendor are required to obtain your own insurance for the day should you wish to cover your display and goods.

• A Facebook group with everyone popping up will be created leading up to the event. This will give you the opportunity to chat with the other vendors who will also be there, as well as ask any general questions.

• We do ask you to share the branded content we send in the Facebook group to help promote the event leading up to it. Please make sure to tag us (@marketsontario) in your social media posts.

• You are required to stay at your table the entire time, except for breaks. This is an opportunity for you to meet with your customers and promote your products.

• Drinks and food for yourself are allowed, but we do ask you not to eat food in front of customers at anytime.

• Please note all fees are final sale and you may not sell off your space to another vendor. Anyone who is caught doing so will not be asked back.

• No shows will also not be asked back to any current or future events.

How does Markets Ontario choose what vendors to accept?
We pride ourselves in having the finest quality products at our events and in our stores. Applications will be reviewed by a panel and if a vendor is accepted they will receive an email. Though 95% of vendors selected will be handmade, we will have a few spaces available for select local businesses such as MLM, service industry, sales, photography etc. Markets will review potential vendors based on quality of work and social media presence and ask that when applying vendors keep in mind that all items must have a local, handmade aspect to them.

We do not accept more than a few vendors of each category. This is done to avoid oversaturation of one type of product and continue to keep our unique market atmosphere. On the second page of the application, please be sure to include a complete list of all products you wish to stock, as any items not listed will not be allowed.
What if a vendor is not accepted?
Unfortunately, emails are only sent out to accepted vendors. We receive many applications a day, so we ask that applicants please do not email us to check up on their application. If you do not receive an acceptance email, it means we are full right now for your type of product. We will keep you on a waitlist in case we have an opening.
If a vendor is accepted, what comes next?
Please keep an eye on your email, as once a vendor has been accepted they have 48 hours to accept the offer by email and make their payment. If we do not hear back from you within this timeframe, we will move on to the next person in line. If you decide you're no longer interested in being a vendor for this event, we do appreciate a quick reply letting us know. Once you've accepted the offer, an invoice will be sent by email.
