Student Volunteer - We have various opportunities for students to earn volunteer hours including website updates, social media management, marketing materials creation, event assistance, and others. Have specific skills? Share in comments below.

Student Intern - We can provide internships for those seeking experience in an area where we need assistance. Paid internships may be considered dependent on our budget, timeline, needs and based on the intern’s goals.

Ad Hoc Committee - A limited period committee formed for a specific need. The committee meets as needed then ends once the project is finished. Possible future ad hoc committees: Sensory Tents, Fundraising Events, Community Recognition Events, and Social Programs for the Disability Community.

Standing Committee - On-going committees that meet quarterly to achieve goals set by the board and committee. Possible standing committees: Transportation, Community Education, Housing, Social Programming, Job Training & Placement, Advocacy, Capital Campaign, and more. Two year commitment requested.

Committee Chair - A committee chair takes the lead of a committee, ensures meetings are scheduled on a regular basis and, with the board, determines the goals. budget and timeline. A committee chair may be part of the executive board or work in collaboration with a board officer.

Board Officer - Executive Board Officers meet monthly and are also active members of at least one committee, as either the committee chair or member. Board Officers determine organizational goals, budgets, programs, and events. Board officers are elected to a position for a 2 year period.
