2022 – Räucherstäbchen
Düfte der Dolomiten Biennale Gherdëina ∞

Inmitten dem Waldgebiet über St. Cristina fragen wir uns, welche Düfte typisch für die Dolomiten sind. Gemeinsam sammeln und verarbeiten wir in diesem ganztägigen Workshop lokale Hölzer, Rinden und Harze aus dem Wald und probieren damit Räucherstäbchen mit lokalen Geruchsmaterialien zu kreieren.

10.00 – 12:00 Gemeinsamer Streifzug, Sammeln im Wald und Wanderung zum Verarbeitungsort

13:00 – 15:30 Gemeinsame Verarbeitung der gesammelten Materialien

15:30 – 16:00 Rückweg zum Parkplatz


Ausrüstung
Bringen sie Trinkwasser, eine Sammeltasche und ihr Picknick mit. Sie benötigen an die Witterung angepasste Kleidung und gute Schuhe. Bei schlechtem Wetter findet der Kurs und die Verarbeitung der Materialien an einem anderen Ort statt.


Begleitung
Curdin Tones ist Künstler und Initiant der Kulturinitiative SOMALGORS74 in Tschlin. In diesem Tageskurs teilt er sein Wissen über die Herstellung von Räucherstäbchen aus lokalen Materialien. Mit seiner Kulturiniziative setzt er sich für Projekte ein, welche in gemeinschaftlichen Schaffensprozessen konzipiert und realisiert werden, wie zum Beispiel das Archiv der Alpinen Geruchserinnerungen in Tschlin CH.

In the middle of the forest area above St. Cristina we ask ourselves which scents are typical for the Dolomites. Together we will collect and process local woods, barks and resins from the forest and try to create incense sticks with local scent materials.

10:00 - 12:00 Joint foray, gathering in the forest and hike to the processing site

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch break with own picnic.

13:00 - 15:30 Joint processing of the collected materials

15:30 - 16:00 Return to the car park


Equipment
Bring drinking water, a collecting bag and your picnic. You will need clothing suitable for the weather and good shoes. In case of bad weather, the course and the processing of the materials will take place at another location.


Accompaniment
Curdin Tones is an artist and initiator of the cultural initiative SOMALGORS74 in Tschlin. In this one-day course he will share his knowledge about making incense sticks from local materials. With his cultural initiative, he is committed to projects that are conceived and realised in collaborative creative processes, such as the Archive of Alpine Olfactory Memories in Tschlin CH.
