Join us for a virtual workshop on how to engage your local government on issues of concern to you and your local community. Gain a better understanding of the Bay Area's local government decision-making processes, explore ways to to make your voice heard and connect with your city officials and agencies, and learn about resources for staying on top of issues in your local community. Kris Kasianovitz, the Government Information Librarian for International, State and Local Documents at the Stanford Green Library, will conduct this digital workshop. It is open to students and community partners interested in learning about civic engagement and advocacy within the broader Bay Area.
