Weekly and Biweekly Maintenance Tasks
There are some garden tasks that need to be done on a regular basis by members of the maintenance committee. These include the following:

1.Trash and recycling need to be put out on Monday nights and containers retrieved on Tuesday after pick-up

2. We need to pick up litter as often as possible. If individual members commit to a weekly litter patrol, it will go a long way to beautifying the areas outside of the garden.

3. Mowing: We need to keep both the garden and the areas on the other side of the fence mowed through the summer. It's hard to say how often is needed, since it depends on the weather. However, if we alternate weeks (inside the fence, outside the fence), we should be able to keep it under control for most of the season.

4. Compost decomposes fastest if it is turned at least once every couple of weeks. We turn it by shifting each of the piles over by one as regularly as we can. It's great exercise!

5. Weeding ampitheatre as needed

6. Weeding along fenceline as needed

7. Weeding the raised bed outside of the fence on Wayne
