Gulf Coast Organization's 2022 Scholarship Application
Through Gulf Coast Organization's flagship program, Jump Start to a Great Start Initiative, GCO supports the rising cost of education through scholarship awards and academic stipends. GCO's Scholarship Fund helps to reduce financial barriers that often confront students with high academic and leadership promise.
Gulf Coast Organization is currently accepting applications from candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. For the 2021-2022 academic year, the candidate will be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a 4-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree, a community college, vocational or technical program pursuing a professional license or certificate.
2. The candidate resides in and is enrolled in a program in the United States of America.
By submitting a 2021 Scholarship Application, the candidate agrees to the following stipulations:
1. The submission of an application does not warrant, guarantee, or confer upon the candidate the right to receive a scholarship award of any specified amount.
2. If selected, the candidate understands that the scholarship is awarded on the condition that he/she/they (as a finalist) may be required to personally attend and accept a ceremonial award at an in-person event.
3. The candidate authorizes GCO to release to third-parties his/her/their name, photograph, and other information obtain during the application process.
4. Any funds awarded by GCO will be made payable to the recipient AND the educational institution in which the recipient is enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year.
5. Scholarship awards are restricted to tuition, campus fees, room and board, books, and other educational expenses or institutional charges defined by the financial aid administrator of your institution.
6. If the selected recipient does not enroll as an eligible student at a post-secondary institution during the 2021-2022 academic year, the scholarship award shall be voided and the selected recipient forfeits the right to claim or receive the scholarship funds.
