AVID is an elective class offered to students with a desire to prepare for success at a four year university.  The curriculum features writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, reading,  and college/career activities.  Students must commit to taking Cornell notes in subject area classes on a daily basis. It is important that all applicants understand AVID is a four-year goal-oriented class.  AVID students are committed to maintain enrollment in the AVID elective for all four years of high school.
