Blacksburg Dance Theater Summer 2024 Camp Registration
Come dance with us this summer!

Our 2024 camps offer outdoor play, creative dance classes, art projects and a final informal performance!

We will offer camps at two locations this year:

1. All dance & nature camps in collaboration with the New River Land Trust will take place at Heritage Park (off Glade Road in Blacksburg).

2. We will also offer more dance-intensive camps at the Blacksburg Dance Theater studio (1711 N. Main St.) with occasional field trips.

Camp Dates & Rates
*Note: There will be a 10% discount off total summer tuition for all sibling pairs.

  1. Tween/Teen Technique Sampler & Choreography Intensive:

    • June 10-14, 2024, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
    • Ages 10-17 (Some dance experience recommended but not required)
    • Cost: $300 per dancer 

  2. Kids Morning Dance Camps at the Studio: 8:30-12:30, ages 4-10

    • July 8-12
    • July 22-25
    • July 29-August 1
    • Cost: $175 per dancer 

  3. Kids Afternoon Dance Camps at the Studio: 1:00 - 4:00 pm, ages 4-10

    • July 8-12
    • July 22-25
    • July 29-August 1
    • Cost: $165 per dancer
*PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOW OFFERING A COMBINED DAY PROGRAM IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SIGN YOUR DANCER UP FOR FULL-DAY BY ENROLLING IN TWO HALF-DAY CAMPS. THE COST WILL BE $300 FOR BOTH CAMPS COMBINED.

4. Half-day Dance & Nature Camps: 9:00 am-1:00 pm, ages 5-10
  • June 10-14
  • June 24-28
  • Cost: $175 per dancer
