Ms. Elmore studied with the renowned Dr. Marilyn Carver from the age of 15 and Marianne Cook, of Broadway's "The King and I" prior. Ms. Elmore went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Music Education in 2001, when she began teaching public school music and her own private vocal students. Ms. Elmore founded the Bartlesville Children's Choir in 2008 with Dr. Linda Jones and continued its work while simultaneously pursuing and receiving her Master's Degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. While at OU, Ms. Elmore studied with Dr. Joy Nelson and received her National Certification in Kodály, a teaching method of "ear training" that allows the student to become an independent musician through their deep immersion in recognizing, understanding and performing pitch and their relationships accurately. In 2013, Ms. Elmore became the Executive Artistic Director of the
Tulsa Children's Chorus, where she tripled the size of the choir during her tenure, performing for over 20,000 people in the course of those years. Under her direction, Tulsa Children's Chorus was also selected to be an Oklahoma Music Educators Association Honor Choir in 2015. Ms. Elmore then went on to become the Director of Music Education for Theatre Tulsa's youth program, where she directed hundreds of children in shows "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Annie", "Elf" and "Lion King". For six seasons, Ms. Elmore also served as Music Director for American Theatre Company's long-running "A Christmas Carol" in Tulsa. In 2017, Ms. Elmore founded Tulsa Youth Cabaret, an auditioned program featuring solo and group cabaret performances,. See video below.  From there, Ms. Elmore relocated to San Francisco, California to teach for San Francisco's leading music school, McAllister Music Studio, where she taught musical theatre, voice, piano and jazz. Due to the pandemic, Ms. Elmore decided to relocate to her hometown of Bartlesville, Oklahoma to quarantine with family, where she has decided to stay to continue her work in music and watch her niece grow up! Ms. Elmore currently serves as the Music Director for St. John Catholic Church where she accompanies the congregation and cantors on piano and organ and directs the choir. What is the hopeful student's first and last name and age? (adult students do not need to list age) *
Parent/Guardian Name
What school does the hopeful student attend and what is their music teacher's name? *
What experience has the hopeful student had in vocal music? *
Does the student have a youtube video of them singing you can share? Please paste link below. If not, please record them singing on your phone and text it to (918) 331-6687. Videos longer than one minute will be too large of a file to send. Since singing in tune without accompaniment is difficult, I would encourage using a youtube karaoke track to accompany them while they sing. If no link to post, please type below that you'll be texting your video. Adult students need to submit video as well. If Ms. Elmore does not think you are a candidate at this time, she will recommend you to a group class to strengthen foundational skills. *

Tuition is due the 1st of each month. If studio is full, you will be notified within 48 hours of application that your name has been added to the waiting list.
What is the phone number you can receive texts at? *
Venmo, an electronic payment processor, is the only way tuition is accepted. I understand and agree to download the app and get it set up so I can send tuition in each month. I understand that late payments are not accepted and agree to pay by the 1st of each month. A late fee of $5/day is charged. It will be added to your next month’s invoice, or you can include the fee when you make your late payment. If tuition is late twice, I will begin looking to replace your kiddo. This is very important. Paying me on time is a way you show me that you respect what I do. My bills are due the first either way. I really appreciate it! For new students, your spot will not be officially reserved until submission had been submitted. *
Required
I understand that media from lessons, masterclasses and recitals may be published in public forums, even after my/my child's participation in the program. *

Any notification of absence less than 24 hours prior to the lesson (or if the student does not show) is forfeited. If you accept a cancellation spot, it cannot be rescheduled. *
