FY21 Elementary Keyboarding Assessment
The Elementary Keyboarding assessment is a form that is sent to the Utah State Board of Education each year to show the proficiency of elementary students in Grade 5. According to Board Rule R277-700-4(6), "An LEA shall assess students for proficiency in keyboarding by Grade 5 and report school level results to the Superintendent."

Proficiency in keyboarding refers to students as able to "key-by-touch."

The Elementary Keyboarding Assessment is submitted to the Utah State Board of Education during the final term of the school year.

Assessments are due no later than June 1 of each school year.
