Game Booth Registration
Day in Damascus is a family event, featuring carnival type games and prizes for kids and parents, vendor booths, live entertainment, safety information, and food. This event raises funds that go toward park improvements and community projects.

GAME BOOTHS:  Each game booth is contained in a canopy/tent (10’ x 10’ space). Sponsor provides canopy/tent, game, and prizes, as well as tables, chairs, etc. Promotional literature for the provider’s business or organization is permitted within the booth but may not be handed out unless asked for.

GOALS AND POLICIES: Day in Damascus is a community building, self-sustaining event that provides fun, affordable, kid-focused activities and creates a family-oriented, solicitation-free zone where community members can enjoy a day together. Local businesses and organizations help the community by volunteering to coordinate, staff, and sponsor activities and are rewarded by being positively recognized through this event. Day in Damascus proceeds benefit Damascus Centennial Park improvements and other community projects.

1 Game booths are approved activities of the Day in Damascus that are in accordance with its official Goals and Policies.
2 Avoid any behavior/activity that doesn’t support event goals.
3 All literature and written material is to be made available only within booths and given only upon request.
4 Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and pharmaceuticals are prohibited from sale, promotion, or use within the park.
5 Cash is not exchanged in the park except at the ticket booth and vendor booths. Games all cost one ticket, and game booth provider must receive all tickets, place in provided collection boxes, and return to DID staff at the end of the event. This is how we monitor which games and activities are enjoyed most by the children.
6 All signs relating to booths must be inside allotted spaces and limited to standard poster size. Feel free to wear your logo on clothing.
7 Set up time is 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event, and you must be ready to go by 9:45 a.m. All vehicles must be removed from the park no later than 9:30 a.m.  Vehicles that are part of your booth/display will be allowed but must be pre-approved by the Booth Coordinator.
8 Game booth providers must sign the Game Booth Provider Agreement document to participate, and by doing so agree that all persons representing them abide by them as well.  Failure to do so after a verbal reminder may result in being asked to leave.

NOTE:  Game options are limited to two per event on a first come, first serve basis.
