Kids Graphic Novel Book Club Interest Survey
Kids in Panels is looking to gauge interest in forming a virtual graphic novel book club for kids around the ages of 6-10.
- Books will be around Middle Grade reading level, commonly listed as for kids 9-12.
- If you have multiple children who might be interested, please use the Comments field at the bottom to provide details
- KiP is in the Eastern US time zone, so please keep that in mind when answering questions about time preferences
- We do not have free copies of books available, but we'll try to check Hoopla, Epic, and other sites your children may have access to
- Meetings will be held via virtual meeting software. Maybe the dreaded Zoom, but we'll look into other options as well
- Group size will be capped to allow for conversation
- For a variety of reasons, we will not be communicating with your children directly outside of book club. This is how I've run in-person book groups for kids at our local library and it seems best for everyone.

It's harder to have hands-on activities during a virtual meeting, but either way, we'll share links to additional comics content around the web with parents. Authors like Dave Pilkey and publishers like DC Comics have come out with robust collections of activities, read-alouds and other fun stuff for kids since March.
