SpongeBob 2024 Audition Form
Please fill out this audition form.  Adults please send a current headshot, a resume, and a video of you singing 32 bars of a song with music and a 30 second to 1 minute comedic monologue. Children under 18 years, please submit a video of you singing a favorite song and tell two jokes. Show Synopsis: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants! And now you will see him at the OBT! SpongeBob Squarepants! Ready to surf into Draper to entertain us with this delightful, hilarious, bright, and colorful musical that the entire family will enjoy! Based on the TV series by Stephen Hillenburg, book by Kyle Jarrow, and musical production conceived by Tina Landau.

The show run dates are: May 31 - June 29, 2024.
Auditions open from Feb. 19 to March 10, 2024 
Callbacks will be on Wednesday,March 13 in person by invite only
Performances are on Monday, Friday, & Saturday with 4 Saturday matinees
Rehearsals are from March 16 - May 30 (2 weekday nights and Saturday mornings)
Tech week is from May 27- May 30, 2024
Opening Night: May 31, 2024

Character Descriptions: (All parts are unpaid/volunteered)
SpongeBob: a sea sponge who lives under the sea .
Patrick: SpongeBob's neighbor who is a pink starfish.
Squidward: Also SpongeBob's neighbor who is an arrogant octopus.
Mr. Krabs: He is a miserly crab who lives in an anchor.
Pearl: A whale is is the daughter of Mr. Krabs.
Mrs. Puff: is a pufferfish who teaches SpongeBob at a boat-driving school.
Sandy: a squirrel from Texas who lives in an air-filled dome who SpongeBob visits often.
Plankton: Is a copepod and the villain of the show. 
Karen: is a waterproof computer wife,  who wants to run Mr. Krab out of business.
Gary: Is SpongeBob's pet snail who meows and acts like a cat.
