Albany Academy for Girls Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form

Members of the Hall of Fame should serve as a standard of excellence and inspire current students, teams and coaches to achieve their own level of excellence. The Hall of Fame will highlight character, sportsmanship, athletic achievements and enthusiasm and will provide a positive link between past athletes and today’s students.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Nominee must be an alumna and be at least five years out.
  • Alumna must be in good standing with preference given to those from reunion year classes or any class prior to 1955.
  • Consideration will be given to those that have made a significant contribution and/or provided outstanding service to the AAG athletic program. The accomplishments should represent the highest caliber of athletic achievement possible of their time at AAG or afterwards.
  • Consideration will be given to alumnae who continued their athletic participation after AAG either as a professional (teacher, coach, official, or professional athlete), as a community advocate for athletics or simply as an active participant at some level.
  • For earlier classes at AAG, consideration should be given to those who were included on the Junior Plaque or Senior Shield.  
  • Coaches with distinguished records or significant contributions.
  • Individuals may be inducted posthumously.
