Freelance Writer: Crash Course Public Health
With more emphasis on public health in recent years, there's an opportunity for more people to learn and grow their knowledge. If you're familiar with the subject and understand how to write engaging narratives, you might be the script writer we need to create a series on public health.

At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. Crash Course, one of our most renowned YouTube channels, invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to tackle subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about.

As a freelance writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing scripts on pre-selected public health topics, working closely with other team members and subject-matter experts to develop comprehensive and consistent scripts. You'll receive feedback from our partner, American Public Health Association (APHA), and our script editor to refine your work until it's ready for production. Being able to collaborate with others effectively and respectfully is essential. Public health and topics around diseases are prominent right now; it's important to build a thoughtful and empathetic narrative on the subject.
