Student Press Freedom Day 2022 Grant Application
Student Press Freedom Day is a coordinated day of action when we mark the anniversary of the Hazelwood v. Kuhlmeier decision, expose the impact of that decision, and call upon elected officials to bring sunlight back to student journalism. Student Press Freedom Day: Unmute Yourself! will be held on February 24, 2022. The Student Press Law Center has established grants of up to $300 to help you hold public events on or around February 24. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, and you will be asked to meet with SPLC staff at least once in advance of your event.
