PMCF Volunteer Form
Volunteer spots are open to local Mainers only. We are adjusting the program a bit this year in a way that will hopefully specialize individuals based on their skillsets, and improve the festival experience for everyone. We are looking to fill the following volunteer roles:

Hosts
  • Host shows
  • Communicate with comics and venues
  • Manage and A/V equipment necessary
Artist Liaisons
  • Communicate with festival comics prior to the fest
  • Provide local suggestions to your group such as accommodation recommendations, restaurants, directions, tourist events, general Maine info, etc
Festival Team
  • Provide on the day support with the festival
  • Communicate with venues
  • Take tickets
  • Set up/break down equipment
  • Serve as a runner
  • Sell merch
Marketing Team
  • Social media/marketing/graphics
  • Photographer
  • Posting flyers, barking, posting to FB groups
Volunteer Leader
  • Serve on selection committee
  • Help coordinate pre-festival logistics
  • Manage and communicate with volunteers and comics
Volunteers can receive:
  • Stage time in the form of hosting or booked spots
  • Free PCMF t-shirt
  • Free tickets to ALL shows
  • The feeling of doing something good
  • *these hours CAN be counted towards court-mandated volunteer service
We are excited to hear about what you're looking to/have the capacity to contribute. If the above perks or responsibilities don't work for you but you are still interested in helping out, fill in the application anyways and we'll see how we can best get you involved.
