About Emerson's "Where's Waldo" School Directory
We update this every year. For TK/KINDERGARTEN and NEW families: please sign up to be included in Where's Waldo. This is an OPT-IN directory, meaning we only include contact information you give us if you choose to be included. For RETURNING FAMILIES: Please also sign up if you have changes in contact information. Where's Waldo is located here online. A print version will be available by request.

Where’s Waldo is our Directory (online/print) for Emerson families only. Check here and we will upload your contact information for you. 
Image/Photo OPT-OUT: we share updates via our BearFacts online newsletter, and create videos of our events. All students are included but parents/guardians can opt out here and anytime during the year.
PTA Membership: Please join the PTA at the beginning of the school year! Just by joining the PTA you are helping! Participation is not only volunteering  time or giving resources, PTA membership gives you a voice in Association meetings for programming and budgeting. The suggested (but not required) membership fee of $10 per person goes to paying the Emerson PTA dues to the Berkeley PTA Council, the Peralta District PTA and the California PTA.

Calling all COMMUNITY-BUILDERS, CONNECTORS, and those looking to get involved – The Emerson PTA and your grade cohort NEED you! Grade Parents are critical connectors between the PTA, classroom families, and teachers. Please consider signing up. Volunteering at Emerson

As a PTA, our primary goal is to serve as a bridge between families and their kids' school. We are here to facilitate volunteering opportunities and encourage your involvement in both classroom-specific activities and wider school events. Your active participation will not only strengthen the bond between families, but it will also enrich the educational journey of our students.

Do you seek the big picture of public education and BUSD? Consider the School Site Council and representing Emerson.
