Academic Tutoring Form (for tutors)
Over the past weeks, the Academic and Junior Councils have been collaborating to develop a tutoring programme in which we pair capable students with others who are wanting tutoring.

Becoming a tutor is a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership skills, help your fellow students, and gain volunteering experience (while also contributing nicely to university/scholarship applications or CVs).

We are looking for students that are confident in their knowledge of certain subjects. No prior tutoring experience is required, as we will provide an introductory session prior to tutoring beginning.

After completing this form, your application will be assessed by subject areas and you will then be paired with students who have expressed interest in being tutored. It will then be the responsibility of the paired up students to find a time and place that work best for them. We are aiming to start tutoring in the first few weeks of term three, and it will run until the end of term. A tutoring position within this program will be a volunteer position (no payment).

If you have any questions, please email Ellie Shuttleworth at 19eshuttleworth@wakatipu.school.nz or Ruby Rose at 19rrose@wakatipu.school.nz
