Thank you for your interest in MacGregor Rec Hockey(MRH)! Below you will find the details for the coming season, followed by the online registration form.
DATES:
MRH will run from November 6 - March 11, for a total of 16 weeks.
Practices will be held Mondays at 5:00pm for Team 1, 6:15pm for Team 2 & 7:30 for Team 3.

AGE REQUIREMENTS & TEAMS:
Registration is open to students in Grades 3-12 (born in 2015-2006).
MRH participants are typically split into three teams; Team 1: Grade 3-6, Team 2: Grade 7-9, Team 3: Grade 10-12. (*Teams are finalized after registration closes and are subject to change.)
EQUIPMENT:
All players are required to wear full equipment, this includes a MOUTH GUARD and NECK PROTECTOR! Players will not be allowed on the ice without proper equipment. For younger player, parents must help them dress or ensure they can dress and tie their own skates. It is not the coaches job to help dress or tie skates. Please ensure your player is dressed and on the ice promptly at start time.
FEES:
- Registration Fee: $180 for Team 1 (2012-2015)
$200 for Team 2 (2009-2011)
$220 for Team 3 (2006-2008)
- Jersey Deposit: $100 per child. Make cheque payable to “MacGregor Rec Hockey” (Do not date the cheque.)
- Normac Centre Canteen: 3 x $50 cheques per child. Make cheques payable to “Normac Centre Canteen".(Do not date the cheques.) If you work your 3 shifts per child, your cheques will not be cashed. If you do not plan on working your shifts, just make out one cheque for $150 so that Karla can cash your cheque to pay for people to work your shifts.
Confirmation emails will be sent after registration closes. We recommend waiting until after you receive your confirmation email to send your payment.
Registration fees can be paid by e-transfer to macgregorrechockey@gmail.com.
All fees, Jersey deposit and Canteen cheques are due no later than the first day of practice, Nov. 6.
(Jersey cheques and canteen cheques can be reused from the previous season, if on file.)
Insurance coverage is the responsibility of each individual.
REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 29, 2022.
VOLUNTEERS:
The operation and success of our program depends on willing volunteers
! Each team requires a Coach, Assistant Coach & Games Organizer.
If no willing volunteers come forward, we may have to cancel the season.
