Join the SAR Genealogical Research Library on the third Saturday of the month (May 20th) for a Case Study Caper! This month we will be discussing the National Genealogical Society's NGSQ Article from 2019: Was Dr. Isaac Teller of Dutchess County, New York, and New York City a Patriot of the American Revolution? by Mara Fein, PhD, CG. For Case Study Capers that focus on an article, attendees are required to gain access to the article on their own. If you are an NGS member you can access the article via their NGSQ digital archive under the members only section. You may also be able to access a copy via your local public library, and if you are in the area, you can access a copy here in the SAR Library. This event will take place via Zoom and is free for all to attend. Pre-registration is required.
The Case Study Capers are designed to take a closer look at the methodology and resources used to come to a genealogical conclusion. Sometimes, we read articles prior to the event, or we may have a special guest to present their research journey. All levels of expertise are welcome as we take our time to examine the evidence.
