I pledge to:
Plant my tree within a few days of receiving it.
Choose a suitable place to plant my tree where it won’t be run over by a lawnmower or be in the way of where people walk. Also be sure the tree has adequate space to safely grow above and below.
Mulch my tree appropriately and make sure no mulch touches the base of the tree.
Water my tree for up to one year (or more) on a weekly basis (except in winter).
Talk to others about the importance of trees and be an advocate for my tree and others!
