Please read over the waiver below for our pop-up ride at Ambury and agree to the terms. No waiver no ride!

1. Safety
I acknowledge cycling is inherently dangerous and involves risks that can lead to serious injury or death. Risks may include, but are not limited to collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, or fixed or moving objects, and dangers arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, weather, inadequate safety equipment or others. I fully accept and assume all such risks, known and unknown, and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I incur as a result of my participation in the activity.

I will look around, use good judgement and inspect the Activity in which I participate.  If I observe any condition, which I consider to be unacceptably hazardous or dangerous, I will notify the ride guide in charge of the Activity.

I agree to abide by the NZ Road Code. When on the road, I will stay to the left of the centre line and ride towards the far-left side of the road. I understand that I do not have right of way over other traffic. When my slow speed impairs traffic, I will as soon as practicable move as far left as possible to allow following traffic to pass.


2. Health and Fitness Requirements
The ride will be approximately 30km total on gravel and sealed road. It is the participants responsibility to ensure they have an adequate fitness level. If you have a physical, medical or mental condition you must disclose this to Pedal Press Limited upon booking or prior to the start of the ride.


3. Bikes
If you ride your own bike on the trip, you confirm and acknowledge that your bike is in good, safe working condition and is suitable for the route. If you are renting a bike, you confirm and acknowledge that the bike is in good, safe working condition and is suitable for a route consisting of gravel and sealed roads.


4. Media Permissions
I give permission to the organisers, its affiliates, designees and assignees, the right and permission to photograph, film, record and/or otherwise capture in any media the name, image, voice, written statement, photograph and/or visual likeness of me and/or my family members (collectively “images”), with right to sublicense, during the activities or otherwise, without compensation, for use for any purpose in any media throughout the world in perpetuity, including but not limited to, use in broadcasts, photographs, publications, podcasts, webcasts, motion pictures, brochures, CDs, DVDs, internet websites, social media platforms, television, and/or in any related commercial, informational, educational, advertising, or promotional materials. 

I KNOW THIS RELEASE IS FOR REAL.  I have the right to contract in my own name. I have carefully read this Release prior to its execution; I am fully familiar with it and I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors-in-interest, and assigns.
