1. Requirements
The Pumpkin Fest attendees will be the judges.
You may use any recipe you choose, as long as it has pumpkin in the ingredients.
Each pie submitted must include a list of ingredients so that people will know if they want to taste it.
Please make 2 pumpkin pies in 9” pie pans. One pie for each time slot.
Pies must be from scratch. Bakers may not use store bought crust or pie filling. Please be mindful of allergies that people may have.
For safety reasons, NO PIES REQUIRING REFRIGERATION WILL BE ADMITTED [e.g. No cream pies, ice cream pies, quiches, custard pies, etc.]
Only 1 kind of pie entry per person.
You must use your own glass or metal baking dish with your name clearly marked with masking tape on the bottom.
2. Prizes
3rd place: $50 in JAMSA coins
2nd place $75 in JAMSA coins
1st place $100 in JAMSA coins
3. Agreement of Contestants
By entering this Pumpkin Pie Contest you agree to have your photo taken, your pie’s photo and related photos of the contest used on various community websites and any related social media accounts. You also agree that all decisions are final and the rules, judges and operation of the contest are ultimately up to the judges.
4. Logistics
• You will be contacted the week before the competition via email with instructions where to bring your pie entry during Pumpkin Fest.
• Your pie plates and remaining pie must be picked up between 5 and 5:30 from the contest following the winner announcements and photos.
