Using the office during Covid19
Due to risks associated with Covid19, our service is being delivered remotely. The Trustees have confirmed that we will offer a 'blended' work arrangement in the future with each team member being able to decide whether they want to work from home, or the office or a mix of both. This survey applies to any member of the team who intends to use the office space for any of their work in CAK. We understand that some people will find it easier to be in the office due to problems with internet access or distractions. However, it is important to note that the social side of working our team will be available online and not in the office as we will need to strictly limit the number of people there at any one time to limit risks of infection.
We will be rearranging the space so that it will comply with government guidance on making sure that a space is Covid secure - ie that people can maintain social distance at all times and that the risk of spreading infection is limited through the use of hygiene and other measures. These measures will include, but not be limited to, setting up workstations that will only be used by one individual, offices to be used by individuals so that they can maintain social distance, cleaning arrangements to be undertaken by everyone using the office and arrangements to limit the amount of contact with shared touch surfaces to avoid infection (eg use of the copier, kettle, taps, lights , doors).
A key feature of keeping you and colleagues safe will be frequent hand washing and also limiting the number of people in the office at any one time and also the length of time that anyone is in the office. We will organise a rota for attendance and share this with the team.
There will not always be a paid member of staff in the office and therefore the nominated individual for Health and Safety purposes will be the first person onsite in the morning. The responsiblity will be for them to know where the First Aid box is and also to call emergency services should the need arise. The systems for day to day work that will be available will be the same ones that are being used at home - ie cloud based and VOIP , not the previous telephone and computer network. In effect, you will work in exactly the same way in the office as you would at home.
This form will be completed by any member of the team who is going to use the office so that we can be confident that they have understood any risks and are prepared and able to work in a way to minimise these risks to reduce the chances of spreading infection to clients and to colleagues.
