Online Black Queer Writing Group
Funded by Arts Council England, Desree will be delivering 90 minute group sessions every Tuesday in April  2021, from 7pm -8.30pm via Zoom for Black Queer Womxn writers.
This writing space is for queer writers, who write. There is time to share and discuss and workshop work and also to socialise for those who wish to. Writing can be of any genre or subject matter. This is a space for queer & trans identifying womxn,  to share dedicated time for writing together. Whether you are a published writer, or brand new to writing, you are welcome in this group.

Desree:
Desree is an award-winning spoken word artist, writer and facilitator based in London and Slough.
Currently Artist in Residence for poetry collective EMPOWORD, Desree explores intersectionality, justice and social commentary. Producer for both Word Up and Word Of Mouth, finalist in 2018’s Hammer & Tongue national final and TEDx speaker, she has featured at events around the UK and internationally, including Glastonbury Festival 2019, Royal Albert Hall and Bowery Poetry New York.
