I understand that the submissions fee is non-refundable and that all monies collected will be used for the cost of publishing & marketing the anthology. Any unused submissions fees will be donated to the charity "Reading is Fundamental."
I also understand that the anthology will be offered for free as a funnel to bring potential readers to the participating authors' websites & social media. As such, no participating author will receive royalties from the anthology.
I understand that the anthology will remain in print for a minimum of 3 years unless something happens outside of The Writer's Sanctuary's control which necessitates taking it down.
I understand that The Writer's Sanctuary cannot accept any story submissions that go beyond a PG-13 rating due to many of our authors attracting a fanbase of readers under the age of 18.
I understand that the anthology will be a collection of stories from a variety of genres and a variety of authors with differing worldviews.
I understand that I retain all rights to my original work, my characters, my premise, and my story world.
Finally, I understand that if I am chosen to be a participating author, I will need to sign a contract to the above effect.
