Expectations of a LWVGB Membership Applicant
As a member, we encourage you to take an active role in the League. The following are ways to participate:
• Attend meetings or participate in voter registration or other events (a suggested minimum of 2 throughout the year)
• Take action when the League sends out alerts that are relevant to our mission
• Share League information and activities through your social and professional networks

As a member, you can expect the LWVGB Board of Directors to do the following:
• Provide timely and accurate information about current League priorities
• Host regular meetings or events for public education and engagement
• Provide opportunities for taking action on local, state and national League issues
• Regularly post shareable information on social media, on our website, and through our newsletter


I look forward to becoming a member of the League of Women Voters of Greater Birmingham and taking an active role in accomplishing the League mission.
