Detroit Bird Alliance Volunteer Interest Form

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with Detroit Bird Alliance. As a small regional nonprofit, we rely heavily on volunteers to help with our important conservation and education projects! 

From habitat restoration to youth education, outreach and tabling to administrative assistance, we have many opportunities for volunteers with a variety of talents!

Please take a few minutes to fill out our volunteer interest form so that we know more about you, and can direct your information to the appropriate staff member.

Once we’ve received your volunteer interest form, we will reach out to conduct an interview to gain a better understanding of what your hopes are, where your comfort levels are for volunteering and your availability.

Prior to being assigned, all regular volunteers will meet with a Detroit Bird Alliance staff member to ascertain their interests. The interview will provide an opportunity for the volunteer to ask any questions, and determine what volunteer position might be the right fit.
