* ABOUT THE WORKSHOP *

This 10-week online course on Leadership, Organizing, and Action, presented by the Wisconsin Leadership Development Project (WiLD Project), offers participants the opportunity to learn five basic leadership practices: public narrative, relationship-building, structure, strategy, and action.

Leadership is about accepting responsibility for enabling others to achieve shared purpose in the face of uncertainty. During these 10-weeks, participants will have the opportunity to work with peers and leaders online to develop organizing capacity in preparation for the new year and beyond! The class will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2-hour sessions. There will also be a mid-point strategy application weekend. Weekly readings, reflection papers, and ongoing coaching will be provided to support your learning.

The WiLD Academy is designed to be a vehicle for launching organizing campaigns. Participants are intentionally recruited in teams of 3-8 people with an organizing project focus to attend. If you are interested in participating but have not been recruited by someone from the WiLD Project network, please contact Dan Grandone, WiLD Project Coordinator, at grandone@wildproj.org before registering.
