今年，敬拜的钢琴手（进阶班） 将重点放在两方面 – 《建立强调节奏的弹法》，以及《弹奏背景音乐的要诀》。这是基础班的延续，参与的同学必须对各类三和弦（major, minor, diminished, augmented），和各类七和弦（dominant 7th, major 7th, minor 7th, diminished 7th），相当熟悉，最好也有数年服事的经验。
希望透过此课程，我们能深入探讨敬拜中两种最常用使用的音乐：

第一堂31/8/19, 1pm-5pm《建立强调节奏的弹法》
钢琴手在弹奏快歌的时候，节奏是最为重要的成分，因为它能带动大家同心地歌唱。许多鼓手都拥有丰富的节奏样式，可以成为钢琴手灵感的源头。因此，钢琴手和鼓配搭的时候，应该模仿鼓的节奏，好丰富钢琴的弹奏。

第二堂 26/10/19, 1pm-5pm《弹奏背景音乐的要诀》（注意：日期更换）
敬拜的流程中如加入音乐作为背景，制造温馨的环境，将可以帮助会众在默想祷告中亲近上帝。我们希望除去可能带来负面影响的弹奏方式，好叫会众能专心注目、沉浸在神的话语与祷告之中。

This year, The Worship Pianist (Intermediate) course will be focusing on two areas - Building Strong Rhythmic Playing and Tips in Playing Worship Background Music. This course expects participants to be familiar with various triad chords(major, minor, diminished, augmented), 7th chord (dominant 7th, major 7th, minor 7th, diminished 7th), and possess a few years of experience playing in church.

First Session (31/8/19, 1pm-5pm)
Topic: Building Strong Rhythmic Playing
Rhythm is the most crucial in fast tempo songs. It is able to unify the congregation in singing. Inspiration can be derived through listening to the rich variety of rhythmic patterns from the drummer. As such, the pianist should imitate the drummer's rhythmic pattern when playing together in a worship team.

Second Session (26/10/19, 1pm-5pm)
Topic: Tips in Playing Worship Background Music
Adding background music in worship creates an atmosphere for meditation and prayer. It is essential that we adopt non-distractive playing styles in order to help the congregation be focused in their time with the Lord.
