This award category is open to any and all youth who are current or former clients of Florida Network funded programs (CINS/FINS, RESPITE, SNAP, FYRAC, and ICM.) The recipient of this honor will be a young person who not only endured great adversity, but transcends it. This young person is the realization of the promise of the Florida Network to help young people bridge the gap from the debilitating impact of trauma to becoming stronger for having worked through the difficulties that would see them defeated. To be specific, the recipient of this award does not have to be a straight A student, or a model client who follows every rule, or a success story ready for a Lifetime movie script. They can be those things, absolutely, but the most important criteria will be that when youth advocates everywhere and anywhere learn of their strength, they will be lifted and inspired to see such hope in all youth whom we so humbly serve.
