Thank you for joining our mission to make sure no child's belly is empty this summer! Our goal is to collect so much food that we could fill a food pantry for a week! With your help, we CAN do this!

 District campaigns should be between April 23rd, 2022 and April 30th, 2022. Work with your unit to decide the best way for your unit to collect food and when.

There are many ways to participate in Scouting for Food:

Collect bags of food from your community by getting out door to door during the campaign.
             Example:
               Scouts drop off the bags one Saturday, and pick up the filled bags the following Saturday.  

Talk to your Chartering Organization about working with them to promote and collect food at their location!

Reach out to your elementary school to see if they would be willing to help collect food!

Need bags? Work with your scouting families to collect grocery bags from their grocery shopping over the next month- Or even ask families to provide their own bag, box, or leave it out on the porch with out the bag. Use quarter sheets instead of stickers and post in neighbor facebook pages, Nextdoor, school parent groups, etc that you are collecting food.

Right now we are asking for your Unit's commitment to support the Crossroads of America Council's Spring Community Service Project. You do not have to have all the details (just yet) about what Pantry you are helping or how many bags your unit needs.
