Tuesday June 7th, 2022 - Virtual CAMS Training
The Colorado Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) is pleased to offer Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) trainings to health care professionals who provide ongoing mental health treatment and support. CAMS is designed to help providers and people participating in services who are at risk of suicide to engage in collaborative problem-solving and the creation of effective safety plans.

Learn about the background of the CAMS training here: https://cams-care.com/

In light of COVID-19, we have moved all CAMS trainings to an 8-hour, single-day, online option. To register for the training that will be held on Tuesday June 7th, 2022 from approximately 8:30 am - 4:30 pm MT, please complete click "Next" at the bottom of this page to complete the required form. Staff from the OSP will reach out to you with more information as applications are processed. If you apply for this training but then learn you will be unable to attend, please let OSP staff know as soon as possible so they can be sure to maximize the limited spaces available for this sought-after free training.

*DEADLINE: Please apply as soon as possible, and no later than Monday May 23rd, 2022 for priority consideration. Before attending the role-playing course, you will need to complete a ~4-hr online video course, so earlier registration will help give you enough time to complete the video course.

**PLEASE NOTE: Because attendance at each in-person training is capped by the CAMS-Care trainers, there may not be enough space for everyone who registers. The OSP will work to connect providers who are not able to attend this training to other CAMS and similar training opportunities.

MORE CAMS TRAINING INFORMATION:
The OSP is offering a three-part CAMS training module to participants: (1) a 3.5-hour online video; (2) a 8-hour, single-day, online training with a National CAMS Expert and Trainer via Zoom; (3) up to 6 case consultation calls after the online training, held by the National CAMS trainer, to answer additional questions and provide assistance with using the CAMS framework. Before taking the on-site full-day CAMS training, participants must complete a 3.5-hour CAMS online video course that should be completed before the on-site training.
