About this event:
Join this free 1-hour workshop and discover how touch-free Alexander Technique can transform your musical experience, whether you're an amateur, professional, or simply enjoy signing in the shower or listening to the radio! By learning a few simple awareness exercises, you'll learn to connect your thoughts with your bodily sensations, promoting greater freedom, ease, and efficiency in your movements. By applying these principles, you'll learn how to listen better, enhance your creative expression, prevent injuries, and find more joy in music, regardless of your skill level.
Everyone is a musician: we all have music in our hearts and it's simply human to sing,
dance, and appreciate music! But far too many people have had their love of music stifled by a lifetime of believing they're not good enough, or that it would take too long to achieve the level of skill they would desire. In this workshop, you'll discover a holistic approach to music-making that connects the mind and body for optimal performance, rapid learning, and better listening skills. You'll acquire tools to break free from ingrained habits
that may be limiting your musical potential, taking the first step towards a lifelong journey of self-discovery, growth, and joy in your musical life.
