ANT Introduction Sessions for Educators
NEW in 2022! In preparation for the first full year of operations for the Autism Nature Trail (ANT), we have worked with Jennifer Hackett, Executive Director of Camp Puzzle Peace, Inc. to arrange 'Introduction to the ANT' sessions that are being offered both virtually and as in-person learning opportunities. Camp Puzzle Peace (CPP) is a Rochester-based not-for-profit that focuses on outdoor learning and experiences for children and families of individuals with special needs that is very experienced with Autism.

Each 90-minute session is designed as an orientation session for educators who are interested in visiting the ANT with students. It is not required to participate in a session before visiting, but doing so is encouraged.

Participants will receive an overview of the opportunities presented by the unique sensory experience and outdoor classroom space that is The ANT. Materials, resources and a curriculum guide tied to New York State standards will be shared. CTLE credits are available for this course.
