Beecher ESSER III Community Input Survey
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Department of Education has released grant funding for which Beecher is eligible to apply. These ESSER grants will provide our district with emergency relief funds to address the impact COVID-19 has had on elementary and secondary schools.
Community members, families, and staff: We are seeking your feedback to determine how to best allocate these funds to address unfinished learning and ongoing COVID - 19 recovery. Please take time to let us know your opinion by completing the brief survey.
Allowable Uses for the Funds Include:
* Implementing public health acts
* McKinney Vento Expenses
* Coordinating efforts with other departments
* Providing school leaders with resources to address needs of their school
* Activities to address students needs (Low-income, disabled, English Learners, homeless, foster care)
* Developing procedures to improve preparedness and responses of LEA
* Training and professional development
* Supplies to sanitize and clean facilities
* Coordinated services for long term closures
* Purchasing technology
* Providing mental health supportive services
* Activities for additional learning
*Improving air quality ("i.e. Air Conditioning)
*Improving facilities
