Under stage 1 of the school's complaints procedure, it is important that you attempt to resolve any difficulties in the first instance by discussing your concerns/complaint with a relevant member of staff (usually the class teacher). Many complaints can be settled on an informal basis over the telephone, in person or through email with a member of staff or the Headteacher.
If you have tried this and are still not satisfied with the response, then please fill in all the sections of this form to escalate your concern to a formal complaint (stage 2 of the complaints procedure). The form should be completed fully to ensure a satisfactory resolution to your concerns. It should be submitted within ten school working days of the completion of Stage 1 for the complaint to be considered.
