Media Makers Rural Internship Application

Are you interested in documentaries? News and feature stories? Promotion and marketing videos? Social media? Sports coverage? Films? Do you want to know more about videography, editing, lighting, audio, graphics, or big multi-camera productions?

Media Makers is a high school career prep internship program at KSPS PBS designed for people like you! Students receive training and work in paid positions alongside staff, hands-on, producing real-world videos for online, social media, and broadcast.

Media Makers Rural is now in its pilot stage. Students at schools outside the Spokane area will learn skills via remote learning as well as occasional school visits by KSPS staff, and field trips to the station. Students in the rural program must have a teacher available to supervise at least some of their after-school work. If you and your teacher are interested in helping KSPS PBS pilot this program, we encourage you to apply using this form. Questions about the Rural program? Please contact Dawn Bayman, Station Manager
