Please fill out this form so that we may learn more about your child's interest and hopefully answer any questions you may have about our program. SPX Dance Company

The dance audition will be held on Thursday, April 22 in the dance room at St. Pius X. See details below.

All students should wear pink tights and a solid color leotard. Bring ballet and jazz shoes. Hair should be in a secure ponytail.
If you are auditioning for Dance Company, you need to bring your pointe shoes. Anyone interested in dance team, please bring looser fitting clothes and sneakers.

3:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Dance Company, Advanced Dance, Dance III, and Dance II
4:30 - 5:00 p.m. - Pointe audition for Dance Company
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Dance Team audition

Dance I (beginning level) information - No audition required!

If you are interested in Dance I, you do not need to attend an audition. Simply sign up for Dance I during registration. There are 2 options:
1. - Dance I (yearlong) - This course is for both semesters and you will perform in the Spring Dance Concert. No previous dance experience required.
2. - Intro to Dance (semester) - This beginning level course is for the semester only. Intro to Dance gives an overview of various styles of dance, dance fitness, stretch and conditioning, and there is no performance required.

Dance I - Beginner - Semester Only. No audition required. Non-performance based

Dance II- Intermediate: have 3-4 years of dance experience, but not currently training

Dance III- Advanced: have 5-7 years of dance experience, may or may not be currently training

Advanced Dance (Dance IV): have 5-7 of dance experience; may or may not be currently training

Dance Company- Pre-Pro/Adv: 7+ years experience, must be training in ballet and pointe

Dance Team - Hip hop and/or jazz dance training preferred
