Community Shared Values

Our values guide our judgement and prepare us to choose and support certain actions. The Upper Mark West Fire Safe Council would like to better understand the values that motivate our community so that we pursue the goals and projects that you want to support.

The UMWFSC is currently working on these already funded projects:

An implementation grant to create a shaded fuel break 30’ of either side of Calistoga Road

An implementation grant to create a shaded fuel break 30’ of either side of St. Helena Road

A planning grant to identify projects for the 9,000 acre UMWW and identify 3 off-road fire-breaks
